There are many factors that affect hair growth, so you will need to come back for several electrolysis visits. The total number of sessions required to permanently remove hair from a particular area will vary from person to person. Most clients come back once a week or every two weeks as needed. But the unwanted hair will be gone forever after the series of treatments is completed. Each treatment lasts between 15 minutes and an hour.
Slight redness and swelling, which disappear within a few hours, may occur after treatment. It is a natural part of the healing process. Avoid tanning or strong sunlight on the affected area for 48 hours. Instructions for recommended home treatment can be given.

Electrolysis is not recommended in patients with active skin infections, keloid scars, hemophilia, taking blood thinning medications, or having received treatments such as dermabrasion or facial plastic surgery within the past 6 months
