Shape Your Body

Laser technology eradicates tattoos by utilizing a concentrated beam of light to dismantle pigment colors. Black ink, absorbing all laser wavelengths, is the simplest color to eliminate. Different colors require specific lasers based on their pigment hues.

In the tattoo removal process, laser light targets the tattooed skin area, selectively absorbed by the ink particles. This absorption heats the tattoo ink, causing it to fragment into smaller particles. The surrounding skin and chromophores remain unaffected by this process.

Following the laser treatment, the body’s immune system begins to flush out these fragmented ink particles over days and weeks. This gradual elimination causes the tattoo to fade progressively. With each treatment, more ink breaks down until the skin becomes clear of ink residue.

Usually, it requires 6-10 sessions to completely remove or diminish a tattoo. However, the exact number of treatments can vary based on factors like an individual’s health, tattoo type, ink volume, and color. We suggest scheduling laser tattoo removal sessions with intervals of at least 6-8 weeks between each treatment. This interval enables your body to contribute to the healing process by absorbing and eliminating the ink particles, allowing for an optimal fading process between appointments.

People prone to scarring, those with connective tissue disorders, individuals on specific medications, or those with darker complexions should avoid undergoing this treatment. Additionally, excessively large tattoo areas may render the treatment impractical or impossible to perform.

The procedure involves:

1. Desensitizing the skin using a lidocaine-based anesthetic gel or a cold air machine to minimize discomfort during the treatment.

2. Thoroughly removing all traces of gel, makeup, and lipid film before the tattoo removal session. Properly disinfecting the skin with alcohol is crucial to establish a sterile canvas for the procedure.

3. Wearing protective glasses to shield the eyes during the tattoo removal process. While occasional flashes of light may be perceived, once adequately protected, your eyes are safe.

4. Applying the applicator to the targeted skin area and administering energy onto the surface to commence the treatment. Sensations of laser light on the skin can be unpleasant, and pain during the session is common.

For Men

Following your treatment, the treated area may exhibit a white discoloration known as a white frosted crust. Redness and swelling are also expected, which will gradually diminish over time. Although rare, blistering may occur, as it’s a natural part of the body’s healing process. To prevent infection, gauze and ointment will be applied at the conclusion of the treatment to protect the area.
